Quilled Birthday card

I was so fascinated at trying my hand on quilling for a long long time and yes eventually i did do it on my son's 2nd birthday
it was actually way easier than what i had imagined
here are the shots

when i gave it to my son on the day of his birthday he was so happy to look at the balloons and he very badly wanted to pluck them away from the cards, but i was like no let it stay for a while and thankfully he dint pluck them off. thank u dear for respecting my effort. i hope  he grows big and appreciates it.

the love for the word "NO"

Hi moms,

Kutty loves to say "NO" all the time.. It actually intrigues me as why they should stick to the word"no"
when i ask very politely
1. do you want to eat this/
2. can u give me a hug

the immediate response is a very undiplomatic "NO"
and right now he has this fascination for saying no even during his sleep
few days back when he was sleeping, he was actually having his leg on my head and tried to move his leg but he would not budge and i realized he was half awake and i requested him to move aside and he was"no,no,no,no,no"... i just could not help laughing . But yes sometimes this no does get over my head.

2 year old

Well  i would love to have a write up about my son kutli (his pet name ). he is 2 years old now and yes he goes to a pre school . That leaves me some time for myself to get things started out. well kutli dint speak until say 23 months. many of my family and extended family members were concerned and of course friends too. H (kutli’s dad)  was also concerned. but some how i thought  that he was eventually bound to speak as did my parents. When i went for a doc’s regular check up, the doc was pretty upset . i was totally confused. the doc said that kutli had some speech problems. i was taken aback. well kutli responded to me. he could hear the sounds so that meant he could be neither deaf nor dumb.
The doc suggested that i enroll kutli in a pre school where he can interact with his age group. Kutli is always hyper active. I just end up exasperated always running short of things to entertain him.
now going to school has made so much difference.
i have some time to breathe and yes our evenings have become joyful.
there was this day when kutli called me “mamma”
i was so overwhelmed that i just hugged him and started kissing him asking him to repeat
kutli: “mamma, mammma….”
although he struggled to arch his mouth before he could utter the word mamma..
he used to call his father appa quite often though…that was his only word spoken ..
now his vocabulary his better. he says
1. apple ( he gets excited on saying apple, al though he doesnt like the fruit)
2. ball
3. pach (for milk)
4.baby
5. moon
6. pee pee
7.car
8. umbela(umbrella)
9. palli
10. mamma
his vocabularly has increased to 30 words i suppose.. i’m so relieved to see him started to articulate..
happy mom
